Beach Awards and Coastal Campaigns
Scotland has some beautiful beaches which are well used by local people and visitors. Keep Scotland Beautiful co-ordinates two beach award schemes to recognise some of the best managed beaches: The international Blue Flag, and the Seaside Award. The 2012 beach award season is now over, but please visit the site again in early June 2013, to find out which beaches have been successful.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is also involved in campaigns to tackle coastal and marine litter.
