Beach Awards and Coastal Campaigns

Scotland has some beautiful beaches, well used by local people and visitors. Keep Scotland Beautiful co-ordinates two beach award schemes to recognise some of the best managed beaches: the international Blue Flag, and the Seaside Award.

Keep Scotland Beautiful is also involved in campaigns to tackle coastal and marine litter, has a seat on the Scottish Bathing Water Review Panel and the National Water Safety Forum's Beach Advisory Group.

Beautiful sandy beach which is great for families. Lifeguards are present during the summer months and car parking facilities are only 2 minutes walk away. Definitely worth a visit.

Coldingham beach is the perfect place for a complete day out.Amenities include,toilets,food and drink,easy parking with disabled access right down to the beach and information boards.Also the beach is always very clean.
